Making your earrings is a perfect way to complement some flair to your jewelry case or create a thoughtful gift for a close friend. To make your hoops, all you need to have is a few items from a craft store and a desire to express your imaginative side. If you want to make earrings that will dazzle everyone, follow these steps.

Steps

  1. Gather all your supplies. Take a quick trip to the craft supply store to gather some basics to create your earrings. There are some standard tools that you will need to complete, but you can use as much creativity as you want to decorate them. These are the things you will need:
  • Earring hooks
  • Cleaning alcohol
  • Glue or a hot glue gun
  • Toothpicks (toothpicks)
  • Thin wire
  • Small pliers
  • Foil
  • Any additional items you want to use to decorate the earrings, such as paint, stickers (decals), small bows, glitter, or jewellery
  1. Although, Sanitize your earring hooks. Gently clean the themes with disinfectant. You will need to take this precaution beforehand you start wearing the earrings.
  2. Make a sphere or other shape out of the aluminium foil. Use the aluminium foil to create a small, visually appealing form to attach to the earrings. But, The globe works better as it is easier to do. To make these spheres, use only a tiny square of aluminium foil, about the size of the palm of your hand. The earrings may be too heavy and can hurt your ears if they are too large.
  3. Decorate the earrings. You can decorate the earrings however you like. You can pass them on the glue and then on the glitter. It can also attach small stickers or sticky jewellery to them. You can use the glue to glue other small ornaments to them, such as small, irregular spheres. You can also cover the earrings with paint and embellish them or leave them painted in a warm and attractive color. If you use glue to decorate your earrings, elasticity them time to dry beforehand moving on to the next step.
  1. Punch a hole in the centre of the [earrings]. Use a toothpick or long pin to poke a hole through the center of each earring. Place it on the top centre of the earring and gently push it until it goes through.
  2. Use pliers or a wire cutter to cut two pieces of wire for the earrings. Cut two pieces of wire about 2-3 inches long. This wire will hang from the earring hooks and will be attached to the earrings, so you can make each piece any length you want. To make dangling earrings, you can cut the wire even longer. Cut the pieces a little shorter if you want the earrings to hang close to your earlobes.

Gently twist one end of each piece of wire until it forms a curve. You will need this curve to hold the earring.

  1. Thread a piece of wire through an earring and attach it to the hook. Hold the curved part of the wire and push the straight leg through the hole you created in the earring. Once you’ve moved it to the other side, thread it around the small hole in the base of the hook so that it meets the turn while firmly holding the earring in place.
  2. Repeat this step with the other piece of wire. Just repeat the steps you followed to connect the earring, wire, and hook in the previous step until you have two perfect earrings.
  3. Put the earrings away. If you don’t want to wear the right away, you can store them in a box for later use or to give as a gift to a friend. You can make your handmade box to follow up on the homemade theme.
